Russell Bateman, Head Chef at Colette’s, the fine dining restaurant at The Grove is hosting a series of culinary Master Classes where he will share his wealth of experience and passion for food.

Each Master Class focuses on one or a pair of complementary seasonal ingredients where guests will learn innovative tips-of-the-trade that can be adapted for the domestic kitchen on how to prepare, cook and plate a range of dishes.

Russell’s passion for his food is shown in each Master Class as he entices guests to smell and taste his creations as he cooks.  Guests are then treated to lunch in Colette’s, focussing on the special ingredient of the class, with each dish matched with complementary wines. Each guest will also take home a Colette’s apron and recipe folder from the day’s class.

Back by popular demand following the success of the first series, this new series of Master Classes will commence on 19 July with an in-depth look at Sauces, an often neglected component of a dish but a key building block essential to any great plate of food.
