The Royal Albert Hall has teamed up with Häagen-Dazs, their official ice cream partner, to create a bespoke parlour, designed and installed at the iconic venue in its Door 8 foyer on the circle level.

The Häagen-Dazs Parlour will be open pre-show and during event intervals for customers to sample an extended range of quality and luxurious ice-cream. A selection of Häagen-Dazs ice-creams is also stocked in the Hall's 13 other bars around the building. | www.Hä


Located on the 23rd floor at Hilton London Metropole, diners can experience the best of Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, while marvelling at the stunning views of London.

Head Chef at Minako, Simon Volante, offers a menu infused with bold, balanced flavours such as crispy salmon with red pepper couscous and crispy seaweed, five spice duck breast with red chilli dumplings and lychee jus, along with other favourites.

For the time-conscious, guests can enjoy an Express Lunch – a three-course set lunch menu served in just 35 minutes. Offering great value for money, with two courses for £15 or three for £18, diners can even put the chefs to the test, with their own table-top sand clocks counting down the minutes until service.

Also available at lunchtime are traditional Japanese bento boxes, with an eclectic array of Minako dishes, served on a single-portion platter. Bento dishes include beef satay with habanero aioli, chicken coriander dumplings and pineapple star-anise cheesecake.


From September 2012 for six months, Graphic Bar, owned by Urban Leisure Group and in collaboration with Bombay Sapphire Gin, are launching their new art installation designed by Jim Sharp, the innovative 70's 3D artist.

Sharp has produced a set of tranquil, deceptively simple 3D paintings. All visual clues have been stripped from the images leaving the perception of depth as the main purpose. This perception alters when viewed through 3D glasses. Guests will be greeted by 3D art on the walls, 3D menus and a 4D cocktail - guests create their own cocktail for four to share, adding the four elements themselves (lab goggles will be provided) and everyone will be given 3D glasses to enjoy the entire experience.

Graphic boasts the world's largest collection of gin hosting more than 180 different types.


Napa, the restaurant at the Chiswick Moran Hotel, for any guest who orders a two-course meal and a bottle of mineral water - the mineral water will turn into a bottle of wine! The restaurant will swap the mineral water for a bottle of house red or white wine for no additional charge. The two courses can be a starter and a main course, or main course and a dessert. The promotion runs until the end of 2012, applies to lunchtime and evening meals and to the first bottle of mineral water only.

Napa serves a selection of high quality starters, mains and desserts, from 'Classic Napa' favourites and best sellers to seasonally-influenced specials. Chef Wayne Dixon's style reflects modern Californian influences fused with traditional flare, creating modern British cuisine with a twist.

Westfield Stratford City has launched a free downloadable cookery book 'Around The World Recipes From Westfield', containing 25 recipes from its diverse collection of East London restaurants.

The cookery book features dishes such as moussaka from The Real Greek, Busaba Eathai's pandan chicken, Caribbean sea bass by Rhythm Kitchen and All Star Lanes' champion chilli con carne.

To assist with re-creating the dishes from home, the cookbook highlights expert advice from senior chefs at the restaurants, describing why their recipes were selected.
