Now in its 5th year, The Nourish Festival set in the heart of Bovey Tracey, is a weekend of events designed to feed the body, mind and senses.
On 1 September the town will be filled with some of the best producers of food, drink, and craft from the south west. Selling their wares will be producers of artisan cheeses, preserves, bread, cakes, cordials, vegetables, herbs, beer, wine, charcuterie, liqueurs, cider, relishes, meat, pates, handmade chocolates, oils, pies and even speciality mushrooms.
Along with them 60 food and drink stands will run the length of Fore Street offering producers and street food flavours from around the world. Who will win this year’s Best of Devon Street Food Award?
Gin lovers have not been forgotten. The Nourish Gin Festival will feature a range of great local artisan gins. And neither have lovers of contemporary crafts – skilled craft workers will be presenting their wares in the Methodist Church Hall.
And for music fans there is a wide variety of ticketed concerts taking place on 31 August and 1 September.
The Food & Craft Fair, Gin Festival, Street Food Awards and Bovey Bake Off on 1 September are free.
