On a recent Virgin Atlantic flight to Cuba, and having upgraded ourselves to Premium economy, The Foody Traveller was delighted to find Tyrrells potato crisps being served. Tyrrells has always been one of our favourite crisps.
The clever packaging certainly made us smile. It features the iconic Virgin Atlantic’s distinctive red colour with a signature Tyrrells black and white photo of a pilot alongside her four-pawed flying friend.
Smile High sea salt, lemon and cracked black pepper crisps have been specially developed by Tyrrells to be particularly tasty at 35,000ft (taste perceptions change at altitude). Tyrrells Crisps has recently scooped a Queens Award for Enterprise and holds over 64 gold Great Taste Awards, more than any other premium crisp producer. https://www.tyrrellscrisps.co.uk.
The potato crisps can be found on board all Virgin Atlantic flights at the Upper Class bar and Premium Economy Wander Wall, where passengers can help themselves to snacks and refreshments. Virgin Atlantic flies to 33 destinations worldwide, including locations across North America, the Caribbean, Africa and the Far East. http://www.virgin-atlantic.com
