Book Review – The Icecreamists

By Matt O’Connor

Matt O’Connor reckons his passion for ice cream started when he was five years old with a Flake 99. In the intervening years his love for this chilly treat has grown and intensified resulting in a pop-up shop in Selfridges to a store in Covent Garden and now a fully-fledged recipe book – The Icecreamists.

Forgive him the puns for the recipes sound absolutely wonderful and the illustrations are stunning. And you don’t need an ice cream machine to achieve perfect ice cream. From Madagascan Vanilla to Rose Petal and Jamaican Ginger Cake ice cream, from Elderflower to Apple and Bison Grass Vodka sorbet , from iced milk shakes to ice cream sundaes and ice lollies this book is an ice cream lover’s idea of heaven.
