We can think of lots and lots of things to do in London, but 1000 of them? Definitely not.
But those clever people at Time Out have. And this latest 3rd edition is as up to date as it can be including as it does entries for the likes of the Shard and the Emirates Air Line, London’s first urban cable car.
From bowling alleys to peaceful neighbourhood gardens, from museums to ice cream parlours, from touring a convent to riding lessons, from the obvious to the quirky and unusual it is bound to be in this fascinating guide book.
The 1000 listings are in random order which can be a bit disconcerting, but equally it makes for a fascinating read not knowing where you will end up next. And all is not lost, there is an index at the back of the book plus a themed index for somebody wanting to know about places for the likes of ‘birdwatching’, ‘dance’ , clubs’, ‘music’, night time London etc. It’s fascinating and has made us realise how little we know about the city we love.
