We were due at the IMAX theatre Waterloo for a screening of Opera from the Met, a performance starting at 5pm – finish time 11pm so too late for dinner. We compromised with a late lunch at Brasserie Blanc Southbank – a stone’s throw from the Festival Hall and the IMAX and open from 12 noon – 11pm. Bitterly cold day outside but wonderfully warm welcome inside the restaurant. The busy staff were great but took time to chat and explain the dishes. A really nice meal and wine. Highly recommended.
