Why not celebrate Christmas with a pint of Jersey’s own Liberation Christmas Ale?
The beer, which is a firm favourite at this time of year, relies on a very unique local ingredient, Black Butter. Each year Liberation Group, which produces Liberation Christmas Ale at its Longueville brewery, supports the National Trust for Jersey by making a donation towards the charity’s projects, in return for a supply of the black stuff.
At 4.8% ABV, Liberation Christmas Ale is a dark ruby beer brewed with finest pale ale, crystal and chocolate malts and Jersey Black Butter. A unique blend of aromatic English and continental hop varieties gives a pleasant bitterness and slightly floral aroma.
