In Kent and in need of a light lunch we took a chance and called in at the nearest pub – the White Lion at Selling.
Lovely warm welcome from Lisa the new landlady: her husband Anthony is in the kitchen –the meals coming out from it looked good. We had excellent, though not cheap, ploughman’s – loads of lovely fresh bread, delicious chutney, thick slices of ham and two different cheeses with side salad and tomatoes on the vine. Will certainly go back.
