UK – London – Food Through the Ages

The Geffrye, Museum of the Home: A special evening combining historic food and interiors takes place 7 February. Step back in time and experience how previous generations dined set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Geffrye Museum. The evening will comprise a chance to explore the Geffrye’s displays of middle-class living rooms from 1600 to the present day, followed by a five-course meal in the restaurant devised by Matt Phelps from Funthyme, which will feature a key recipe from each century. An introduction to each course will be provided by Kate Colquhoun, food historian and author. www.geffrye-museum.org.uk
