Fourth Annual Gefiltefest Celebrates Jewish Food Revival
Gefiltefest, the UK’s only Jewish food festival, takes place Sunday 19 May at Ivy House – the former home of the ballerina Anna Pavlova and now the home of the London Jewish Cultural Centre. The festival will feature live cooking demonstrations, lectures, tastings, workshops and stalls. For those with a strong stomach, there will even be a discussion on whether or not locusts are Kosher and a sampling of chocolate-covered locusts. www.gefiltefest.org
