Book Review – Handmade Homemade Recipes from Jersey

This book was originally published in 2009 but it only recently came onto our Bookshelf. We love it.

Jersey Pottery has long had a reputation for producing terrific ceramics. Realising that people might need something a little more interesting than a cup of something and a biscuit they began introducing food. They quickly built up a reputation for fine food. This cookery book celebrates their restaurants and cafes and the chefs who work in them.

The recipes in this fabulously illustrated book have been overseen by Tony Dorris, Group Chef Director of Jersey Pottery. The recipes as Tony says are “our favourite recipes that we’ve produced over the years – the ones that people like and have tended to stay on the menu. [The book is a chance] for our patrons to reproduce the food at home…”

Along with the recipes are interesting and informative Chef’s Notes and wine suggestions.
