Book Review – tibits at home: stylish vegetarian cuisine

tibits restaurant in London’s Heddon Street, just off Regent Street serves healthy and tasty vegetarian food. So that fans can create their own versions of some of the dishes at home tibits has now produced its first collection of recipes.

Within the covers of tibits at home are 50 recipes divided between the four seasons – many of them catering for vegan, gluten-free and nut-free diets. Inspiration for the dishes comes from Asian, Indian, Mediterranean as well as British cuisines.

The recipes are a lovely blend of yummy desserts and cakes, warming soups (we love pea and mint soup), tasty main dishes, dips, snacks and some delicious sounding health drinks. One of us, not a beetroot lover, is even happy to try the beetroot and passion fruit juice made from bananas, lemon juice, water carrots beetroot and passion fruit without being bribed by the promise of a spinach and feta lasagne followed by a chocolate and coconut macaroon or two.
