The first time I visited Vertigo I was stunned at the transformation of what had once been a furniture store. I could not fail to be impressed by the décor and design of this marvellous building but what impressed me the most about the design of this modern Lounge is the Roof Top Terrace which offers stunning views across the town adding another dimension to an eating experience.
The menu is not vast, which is good: my favourite meal so far is the breakfast Eggs Benedict. You can pre-book tables and reserve an area for larger parties of should you wish. Meals are served until 7.00 weekdays or until 5.00 on Sundays. In the evening Vertigo morphs into a vibrant bar. We have been a couple of Friday evenings for drinks and there is often a DJ or a jazz singer.
Vertigo is available for private hire for celebrations the canapés were amazingly delicious. I have now become a regular visitor; it’s a great place to be and the food is exceptional. C.F.
