On Sunday 8 September Saas-Fee will host the eighth Nostalgic Culinary Mile, when the valley’s hotels and restaurants invite guests to dine at what must be the longest table in the Valais bringing the traditions and customs of the Saas Valley to life.
The Culinary Mile offers food fans over 30 different menus, some of which feature traditional dishes with rather odd names, like “Greibe”, “Cholera” and “Saaser z’Vieri”. Those who can’t choose can opt for a pass that enables them to sample small portions of five different dishes. This “Genusspass” is available to buy onsite at the Culinary Mile. Visit www.saas-fee.ch
