The Canterbury Food and Drink Festival 2012 which takes place 28 – 30 September celebrates some of the finest producers and purveyors of food, drink and craft in the South East. As well as a huge array of tastes and smells, this year’s festival features entertainment for all the family including the ever popular ‘Little Lounge’ area which offers activities to keep even the youngest visitors entertained.
New to the festival this year is the Green Hop Beer Tent which launches Kent Green Hop Beer Fortnight 2012. More than 20 of the county’s breweries are making their own versions of the ale which features fresh hops used within 12 hours of being picked.
