The Magna is a bit tucked away in Printing House Square, but persevere it’s worth it.
There’s a smallish first floor restaurant and a take away service. A friend and I go every few weeks and now leave our choice of meal to owner, and sometimes chef, Shah. Both Shah and the regular chef have a real gift for subtle and fresh flavours that come alive in your mouth. You taste the spices without the searing heat of chilli – unless you like mouth-searing hot curries of course. The guys really take a pride in their cooking using the best ingredients they can, and often make us dishes from family recipes. It’s reasonably priced too. M.B.
